Garden Party June 2018
A hot summer's day in June brought the Twinners out for their annual garden party.
This year, held in the garden of Brian Mackness at Fairfield, Vicarage Lane, was in the form of a Ploughmans Lunch organised by Liz Clowes and John Whitehead. A fine spread of food from members at The Orchard Cafe and Deli was eargerley consumed by 30 Twinners and guests followed by fresh strawberries and cream - I doubt that any ploughman would have dined on such finery. This was followed by games in the grounds of Fairfield.
Our next meeting in July will, weather permitting, be a barbecue courtesy of Jane and Garry Kendall at Ashley Priors before we take a summer break until September.
