Our events list is provisional and has changed due to the current coronavirus lockdown. This is what we planned!!!

Members receive a monthly email reminding them of forthcoming events and around two weeks before each event, an email is sent around for volunteers and attendees.

All events, unless otherwise indicated, take place in Church House, Abbotskerswell, TQ12 5NZ. 'Pop-up' events will be marketed to the community as a whole, inviting folks to attend as guests. Guests can attend two events per year without being members. See this link for more information.

Sat 14 Mar 7:30 for 8:00 St Patricks Celebration Pop-up Irish restaurant - Themed evening for St Paddies

Sat 18 Apr late afternoon, Eggs, chicks and chickens for families - Family eggs, chicks and chicken evening – which came first? Alternative egg hunt with a wacky edge

May 19 - 23   Visit from the French (postponed until 2021)

Sun 20 Jun Lunch & afternoon - French Café - With French tarts and French cheeses, perhaps a menu de jour for lunch

Sat 18 July From 12:30  Lunch with Devon Twinning Circle with Pete Wade from Abbpast as Speaker and lunch (postponed)

Sat 12 Sept 7.00 for 7.30  Meal with perhaps Sustainability Group - Sustainable eating and discussion of implications of climate change

Sat 17 Oct 7:30 for 8:00 Indian Dinner and entertainment - Pop-up Restaurant - Indian themed evening (with shepherd’s pie for the philistines)

Sat 14 Nov 7:30 for 8:00 Dinner - Crab racing event

Sat 5 Dec 7:30 for 8:00 Xmas dinner With all the trimmings!!
